Rachel Nicolosi: a funny, curvy, green-eyed girl; Jewish and not very good at it; until very recently a Boston transplant, but forever a Buffalo Girl at heart. A writer, a historian, an archivist and librarian, Rachel is currently selling her soul in the worlds of retail and grant-writing to offset her truly insane student loan debt.
As a poet, Rachel was previously a featured speaker at the 2014 Drop Hammer poetry event, and at SPOT Poetry Nights from 2012 to 2015. As a historian, Rachel’s writing has been featured in The Exposition, and her latest work is currently pending publication through the Simmons University Press.
A new dual-MA/MS grad, Rachel is trying to balance her ongoing feelings of wanderlust with her love of her terrible hometown, but most of all is trying to figure out just what being a “functional adult” really means. She has questionable taste in men, music, and ice cream flavors, and likes red lipstick, arguing, and flashing too much ankle.
And let’s face it – she has really slutty ankles.
